Manx Harriers is holding a 5km club walk this evening, Thursday, on the TT Access Road, Braddan.
Signing on will be at Manx Harriers’ clubhouse on the NSC perimeter road from 6.30pm.
Entry is £1 to all, including club members, guest walkers, unattached and juniors who can walk a distance appropriate for age at either 1km, 2km or 3km.

l Round two of Western Athletics Club’s Dave Phillips Memorial running series takes place this Friday.
It will involve a two-lap race over four miles and a single lap of two miles over Peel promenade and headlands area.
In addition there are races for ounder and over-nines on the promenade.
Sign-on close to Empire Garage showroom from 6pm for a 7pm start. The final two dates are: Fridays June 23 and July 7.
l The annual Race the Sun relay run round the island’s coastal footpath takes place this Saturday, starting on Peel promenade at sunrise, at 5.07am.
The race, which goes in a clockwise direction, is organised by and in aid of the Children’s Centre, sponsored by Mann Made Group.
The idea is to complete the whole of the 95-mile Raad ny Foillan by official sunset at 9.25pm.
l The Harbour to Harbour Walk, supported by Dandara Homes, takes place this Sunday, starting 10am from Port Erin beach.
The route is: Port Erin beach, St Mary’s Road, The Howe, Glen Chass, Fistard, Port St Mary Harbour, Gansey, Carrick Bay and Scarlett, finishing at Market Square, Castletown. It covers a distance of nine miles on varied terrain.
It is open to walkers of all ages and abilities, including dogs. Fees: Adult £12.50, youths under-18 £7.50 (these must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times).
Registration opens at 9am.
